It features an active learning approach that integrates situational examples and learning assignments to support critical thinking and practical application.
The text includes thematic explorations of various topics such as social determinants of health, levels of prevention, health care delivery, and epidemiological principles. It integrates these topics with discussions on communicable diseases, emergency preparedness, and community nursing roles, emphasizing the practical application of concepts through evidence-based practices, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills.
